All designs created on paper, or computer by A Nathan Brickwork shall remain the property of A Nathan Brickwork.
All visitors to the site where works are being carried out, including owners of the property, do so at their own risk. A Nathan Brickwork will not accept any liability for injury should an accident occur.
With special order and non-refundable materials, the full cost, of these items, will be required, before the start of the job.
The client has confirmed and taken responsibility, that they have gained the relevant planning permission, building control, party wall approvals and boundary ownership.
It is the client’s responsibility under current legislation to inform adjacent property owners as to the nature of any proposed works and commencement dates.
If a quotation, over the cost of £5000.00 should be accepted, then a written JCT contract will be set up between A Nathan Brickwork and the client.
Any extras or alterations to the quoted works, or to the materials requested by the client, will be subject to additional charges based on a day rate basis and any extra materials will be charged accordingly.
A separate quote will be given, for each additional change, which must be accepted in writing before being carried out or purchased.
The client, in accepting this quotation, agrees to A Nathan Brickwork carrying out the described works on their property, and they shall make reasonable provisions to protect their fixtures and fittings, not subject to the described works and other possessions left in the property whilst the works are undertaken. The client shall also make safe, suitable and uninterrupted access.
Upon acceptance and agreement of a commencement date of work, it will be assumed that the supply of water, electricity and toilet facilities will be made available, for the use of all workmen on site. If not, an additional charge will be made, to provide these services, to comply with health & safety.
All prices quoted are calculated on the basis of free access and
unimpeded working during our normal working hours (8am – 4:30pm
Mon – Fri), unless otherwise agreed. Please note that we may be on
site until 6pm or on a Saturday. We will get prior agreement with the
client should this happen.
Time frames, assume continual access and scheduling of works.
Timescales are estimated and dependent on materials, weather and
labour availability and as such are subject to some flexibility.
Liability cannot be accepted for delays or their effects either whole or
part to causes out of our control.
The quotation provided, is based on known costs for materials etc, at
the time of preparation. Unfortunalty the building trade is experiencing regular price increases. Whilst we aim to keep within the quoted costs, we may be forced to increase charges when situations like this occur. We will notify the client of any such increases
The quotation will remain open for acceptance, for a period of 3 months, from the date, on the quote.
Skips on site, are for the sole use of A Nathan Brickwork only.
Materials purchased by A Nathan Brickwork on behalf of the client,
cannot be changed without incurring a restocking fee, should a change
be required please contact A Nathan Brickwork as soon as possible to
avoid having to pay additional charges.
Insurance – Public Liability: A Nathan Brickwork has Public Liability
Insurance, to the sum of £3,000,000. All usual general building
practices are covered within our insurance policy.
The outstanding balance must be settled in full, within 5 working
Days, from the date, on the invoice, unless stage payments
have been agreed.
If payments are late, work will be suspended, until overdue
payments are received
Late payments will be subject to a late fee of £25 plus
an interest charge of 5% above the Bank of England base rate. This
interest will be calculated weekly.
All materials and goods supplied by A Nathan Brickwork shall remain
the property of A Nathan Brickwork until payment has been received
in full.
Until full and complete payment has been received, A Nathan
Brickwork may remove any materials and goods from the site. The
client shall allow such access to the site as is reasonably necessary
for such removal.
It is requested that a minimum of five working days, be given of
cancellations or postponements.
A Nathan Brickwork reserves the right to terminate an agreed
contract if the client is in breach of these terms and conditions.
During each project, A Nathan Brickwork reserve the right to take
photographs during the various stages of the job, these photographs
are for marketing purposes with personal details removed.
A Nathan Brickwork is not a VAT registered business.
